Common Problems Dealt with
Motivation
This can hit you at any time for no apparent reason. It can manifest during training, 2 weeks out from competition, during competition or even minutes prior to competing.
We use straight forward strategies to help you regain the drive and passion plus a systematic breakdown of what is causing it. Additionally, we teach you techniques to drive you forwards and maintain your motivation.
Confidence
Well, you know, sometimes we didnt have the confidence to start with! If that is the case then it grows as we progress further into our sport and even our confidence, the better we get, become almost more fragile in certain ways.
There can be many contributing factors to a loss of or contuing low confidence. Circumstances outside our control, low self esteem or belief issues, negative influences around us and this can lead to a loss in confidence which can also effect motivation.
Using a series of tchnqiues we identify the underlying issues and the practical aspects of dealing with negative influences which cannot be changed, give you tools to be able to instantly step into a more confident state and also a strategic plan to maintaining and increasing that confidence.
Repetitive Problems
I would say most of us have been there! A routine or something we seem to do over and over again and cant stop.
Some examples from clients I have worked with are a 100m sprinter who came out of the blocks late on every start and the harder she tried - the worse it got.
Or a premier footballer who had an injury from a tackle and after recovery, every time somone came in to tackle him he described almost a loss of total energy and "giving the ball away".
With both examples, we broke down the strategy of what was happening, recovered the underlying issues and then changed, stopped and diverted the behaviour.
The sprinter now gets away before most of her competitors and the footballer now successfully passes or keeps the ball and is a hero in the press again!
These minor issues can drastically effect our performance and are so easily dealt with in a couple of sessions.
